Movie Summary:
Not everyone can be a king, especially if you are a clumsy, ugly ogre. When Shrek (Mike Myers) married Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), the last thing he wanted was to rule the land of Far Far Away. But when Fiona’s father, King Harold (John Cleese), unexpectedly draws his last breath, it is Shrek who becomes the successor of the throne. However, he flatly refuses to carry a burden of power and sets out to retrieve the legitimate heir Arthur Pendragon (Justin Timberlake), along with his trusted companions Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas). During the green ogre’s absence, his old enemy, the power-hungry and malicious Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), rallies all fairy-tale villains and returns to Far Far Away meditating a coup d’état. Shrek will have to move heaven and earth to foil the schemes of his foes and save his pregnant wife and his kingdom.
