Movie Summary:
The overwhelming drama concerns a close friendship that grows up between a traditional Muslim of Pakistan descent, Nasira Khaldi (Francis Benhamou) and an Orthodox Jew, Rochel Meshenberg (Zoe Lister Jones) who meet as teachers at a public grade school in Brooklyn. Despite their different backgrounds and beliefs, the two women become fast friends as they discover they have much in common, not least of which is that they are expected to enter into arranged marriages.
